Key Job Details - Neuro RN Travel Assignment Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (Indiana nursing jobs) Unit: Neuro MedSurg/Telemetry (Neuro RN jobs) Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens) Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 - End: 12/15/2025) Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM); holidays and every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Unit Size: 24 beds Patient Ratio: 5:1 or 6:1 Floating: Required to other units as needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800 Qualifications - Neuro RN Travel Job Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Minimum 2 years of recent neuro/medsurg/tele RN experience Strong skills in neuro assessments, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube and groin site management Critical thinking and ability to manage high-acuity patients Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; Cerner preferred Must qualify as a traveler (permanent address >50 miles from facility) Responsibilities - Neuro Registered Nurse Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, trauma, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op needs Perform detailed neuro assessments and manage post-surgical drains and chest tubes Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other units as required Participate in voluntary call and holiday/weekend rotations Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Fort Wayne, Indiana!
