Pay Information $2,779 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 1-3 - Proficiency in Epic charting system - Ability to float between like units Description: Responsible for the care of high-risk obstetrical patients. Provide support in labor and delivery settings as well as postpartum care. Circulate in cesarean sections as needed. Maintain competencies in administration of medications and patient education. Assist with medical procedures including amniocentesis and circumcision as required. Perform assessments on mothers and newborns, ensuring optimal care and education. Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Practice under strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development and education. Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed. Must possess strong communication skills and cultural competency. Commitment to providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Adaptability to changing environments and potential floating between facilities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Contribute to a positive work environment and patient satisfaction. Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in labor and delivery nursing. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
