Pay Information $2,418 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS-AHA, NRP Must-Have: EPIC experience preferred Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patients' problems or needs and the physician's medical diagnosis. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Every other weekend and holidays are required. No on-call duties are involved. Preferred certifications include ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM.
