Key Responsibilities:

nn

• Perform nuclear cardiology studies including stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies
• Conduct rest/stress myocardial imaging procedures including exercise/rest-multiple, exercise/rest-single, and pharmacological stress tests
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs for patient procedures
• Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with safety protocols
• Operate hot lab equipment, dose calibrator, and well counter
• Utilize Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras for imaging procedures
• Maintain current BLS certification and obtain ARRT N or CNMT certification
• Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with coronary artery disease, chest pain, shortness of breath, and pre-operative clearance needs
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 with average daily census of 8-10 patients
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (4-5 hours for non-acute roles)
• Work 10-hour shifts from 06:00 to 16:30
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete 40-hour unit orientation program
• Adhere to professional dress code requirements
• Comply with fatigue policy limiting work to no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months

Job Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered license in NC
n
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
n
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
n
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

• State-required professional license

• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)

• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)

• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)

• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations

• Must pass background check and drug screening
