Description

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in adult acute care settings, including outpatient, ER, and ICU environments. This role is suitable for first-time travelers as well!

Key Responsibilities

n

n
• Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms, bubble studies, color Doppler imaging, and TEE.
n
• Utilize pharmacologic stress echo and treadmill stress echo techniques.
n
• Conduct diastology assessments, LV strain/LV volume calculations, and PISA evaluations.
n
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
n

Qualifications

n

n
• Current certifications: BLS, ARDMS, or CCI RCS.
n
• Proven experience with adult acute care, outpatient services, and emergency response.
n
• Familiarity with EPIC charting systems is required.
n
• Experience with GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, or Toshiba equipment is preferred.
n
• Ability to float to various healthcare campuses as needed.
n

Compliance and Requirements

• Compliance deadline: Complete a full compliance file by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday before the start date.
n
• Must pass an EKG exam during the compliance process with a maximum of two attempts.
n
• Education verification will be conducted through a third party; certain schools will not be accepted due to diploma fraud concerns.
n
• No open cases on the background check will be accepted; a valid license in hand is required for submission.
n

This position requires flexibility with scheduling and adherence to the client's zero-tolerance policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates should be prepared for travel and float as needed.
