The Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University is excited to welcome a dedicated Cardiothoracic Radiologist to our faculty team. We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong interest or background in academic radiology and a commitment to educating medical students and radiology trainees.
As a member of our faculty, you will provide exceptional clinical services to patients at Jefferson University Hospitals, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center. Our cardiothoracic imaging division requires proficiency in interpreting a variety of exams, including adult chest X-rays, thoracic CTs, cardiovascular CTs, and cardiovascular MRIs. Collaborating closely with clinical specialties such as pulmonary medicine, thoracic surgery, and thoracic oncology, you will be part of a dynamic team.
Our department is equipped with cutting-edge imaging technologies, including CR and DR radiography units, advanced multidetector CT scanners, high-field MR systems, FDG-PET scanners, PET-MRI scanner, and comprehensive interventional suites. Enjoy working in a fully digital environment utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment. We have a robust commitment to clinical and basic science research, complemented by extensive teaching resources, case search tools, and effective radiology report communication.
Located in the heart of center city Philadelphia, our department offers excellent access to mass transit for commutes from suburban Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
This position is available at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, determined by candidate experience and credentials.
Qualifications:
- An MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification or eligibility
- License or eligibility to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
