Job Description

We are seeking three skilled GSE Mechanics to join our team, with one opening for the 1st shift and two for the 2nd shift. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting Ground Support Equipment (GSE) at MCO.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines and GSE equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on GSE.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in diesel maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience as a maintenance technician with a focus on preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot engines and GSE equipment.
  • Strong experience in automotive and electrical repairs.
  • ASE-certified mechanic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1st shift requires 7+ years of diesel maintenance experience.
  • 2nd shift requires 4+ years of diesel maintenance or heavy automotive maintenance experience.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Must possess a clean driver's license.

Work Environment

Enjoy a structured work schedule with two consecutive days off, either on Sunday/Monday or Friday/Saturday. Work hours for the 1st shift are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, and for the 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.25 - $31.00/hr.
