The Active Older Adult (AOA) Program Coordinator develops and manages programs promoting healthy living and social engagement for adults aged 60+ in the Stonestown family community. This full-time, in-person role includes direct service, staff supervision, and administrative duties, with an emphasis on collaboration with community partners. Job Responsibilities
Program Management : Plan, market, implement, and evaluate senior programs in alignment with YMCA goals. Team Leadership : Hire, train, and supervise full-time and part-time staff, volunteers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with YMCA policies. Participant Engagement : Recruit participants and provide thorough onboarding. Data & Reporting : Maintain records, gather feedback, and meet grant reporting requirements. Community Collaboration : Build and sustain partnerships with community organizations. Budget & Fundraising : Assist with budgeting, grant oversight, and fundraising initiatives. Safety & Compliance : Ensure program safety and complete required trainings Minimum Qualifications
Monday-Friday availability during business hours. Bilingual in English and Cantonese. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Elder abuse prevention training. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds, such as carrying files or small office equipment. Minimal physical exertion: tasks are primarily sedentary Disclaimers
