Schedule: 2nd Shift, Weekends (Friday-Sunday, 3:30 PM - 4:00 AM) Pay: $21-$22/hr Responsibilities Analyze pH, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture, and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products. Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic, and acetic acid concentrations. Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients. Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components. Collect samples of ingredients, products, or packages and monitor testing according to established procedures. Monitor processes to ensure consistent operation. Label and maintain samples for retains and shelf-life monitoring. Maintain lab equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. Monitor plant for compliance with GMPs. Test R&D samples for food safety and specification development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field. Basic math and science skills with laboratory bench work experience. Ability to make accurate observations, organize work tasks, and manage time efficiently.
