Housekeeper - University Setting 5am-1:30PM
Norfolk, VA | $13.24/hr | Full-Time | Essential Personnel
PeopleShare is hiring Housekeepers to support a well-known university in Norfolk, VA! This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and upkeep across campus apartments and residence halls.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine interior and exterior cleaning of dorms and apartments Deep clean units during summer when students are off campus Maintain floors (carpet and tile) using proper custodial techniques Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively Follow procedures to ensure facilities remain in excellent condition Report to work during university closings/emergencies as essential staff Requirements:
Must be fully able-bodied and in good physical condition Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for 5+ hours Basic reading, writing, and comprehension of English Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in higher education Valid Virginia driver's license and insurable driving record Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
