We are a beauty company within the NYC metropolitan area, looking to add a Performance Marketing Manager to our team. The Performance Marketing Manager will lead customer acquisition and paid media strategy. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns across key channels—including paid social, search, display, and traditional media. The ideal candidate blends analytical thinking with a deep understanding of consumer behavior in beauty, has experience scaling DTC brands, and thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment. Responsibilities
Own end-to-end management of paid channels including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms. Build full-funnel campaigns that support new product launches, evergreen bestsellers, promotional periods, and brand storytelling. Partner with creative and brand teams to translate 360° campaign themes into performance-ready ad formats and messaging. Monitor daily campaign performance and proactively optimize for ROAS, CAC, and LTV. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate paid media into full-funnel brand campaigns—including email, influencer, PR, and social. Participate in campaign kickoffs, providing input on timing, messaging, and performance creative needs. Ensure performance marketing supports broader storytelling and product education efforts across all customer touchpoints. Work closely with creative and brand teams to develop high-performing ad assets, landing pages, and messaging frameworks. Provide performance insights and creative briefs to inform ad copy, visuals, and video concepts—ensuring alignment with brand tone and customer needs. Continuously test and iterate creative variations (hooks, CTAs, formats) to improve engagement and conversion. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
Manage performance marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation across channels and audiences. Forecast and track KPIs including CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and contribution margin. Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners. Audience Strategy & Optimization
Develop segmentation and audience strategies using first-party data, platform targeting, and lookalike modeling. Partner with the CRM and analytics teams to align acquisition and retention strategies. Leverage pixel data and event tracking to improve funnel performance and attribution. Implement a structured A/B testing framework across creatives, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience segments. Stay ahead of digital trends, platform updates, and beauty industry benchmarks. Identify and test into new acquisition channels Requirements
5+ years of experience in marketing, performance marketing, paid media or growth marketing. Bachelor’s in marketing or similar experience. Prior experience in the beauty industry or retail is a plus. Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from customer data. Excellent skills in market research, competitive analysis, and data interpretation Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
