Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with at least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise integration. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including hands-on experience with Salesforce AgentForce and Data Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data models, building efficient data pipelines, and integrating diverse data sources with the Salesforce ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust data models within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Architect scalable and secure data integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems. Design and implement data categorization strategies using metadata management tools to support data governance and discoverability. Build, automate, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using tools like Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft, or custom scripts (e.g., Python or Java). Leverage Salesforce APIs to extract, transform, and load data programmatically. Collaborate with Salesforce developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define and implement integration and data strategies. Maintain technical documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards. Contribute to the performance tuning, debugging, and continuous optimization of data systems. Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, data engineering best practices, and emerging technologies. Success Factors:
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level data architecture and integration frameworks. Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce data models, APIs, and custom configurations. Added advantage to have Hands-on experience with Salesforce AgentForce and Data Cloud. Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and frameworks (e.g., Apex, LWC). Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, scalability, and performance optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple high-impact projects in a dynamic environment. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a focus on integration and data architecture. Direct experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft, or custom-built solutions. Strong background in Salesforce platform engineering, including use of AgentForce and Data Cloud. Nice to have Direct experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft, or custom-built solutions.
