Duration:13 Weeks Start:01/05/2026 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Description: Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI scans to assist in diagnosing cardiac and other medical conditions. They operate MRI equipment, position patients safely, and ensure high-quality imaging results. The role involves collaborating with radiologists and cardiologists to interpret findings and maintaining patient comfort during procedures. Strong technical skills and knowledge of safety protocols are essential. We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech with a strong background in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging to join our team. This role focuses on weekend night shifts and supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging with a focus on oncology cases.
Department Information: Average Daily Census: 35-40 cases/day Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Electronic Documentation: EPIC Required Experience & Certifications: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience ARRT certification BLS certification Valid Ohio State License
Required Skills: Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings Proficiency in imaging: Abdominal, Female & Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder Familiarity with PACS and Siemens equipment
Special Imaging Procedures: Fusion (non-brain) Gradient Echo Imaging Image Post-Processing (Client mapping, subtraction) Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP) Perfusion Spectroscopy Spin Echo Images Surface Coils T1 & T2 Weighted Imaging Spine Imaging: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
