Seasonal Alterations Specialists are responsible for completing all fittings and alterations to the high standards of David’s Bridal and report to the Store Manager. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide technical expertise alongside superior customer service. This is a seasonal role during peak season. Responsibilities
Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person; communicate clearly and concisely; adapt style to suit customers by problem solving; demonstrate excellent phone skills and resolution of conflicts. Manage the customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star customer experience. Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meeting needs, and supporting customers’ emotional and practical needs; complete operational checklists. Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once; contribute to Five-Star Customer Service store-wide. Address customer concerns with confidence; know when to escalate and partner with leadership. Explain how alterations can improve a dress for events; promote alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience; comply with Dress Code Policy. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments; inspect garments altered/steamed/pressed for pristine condition before delivery. Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information. Build long-term relationships with customers to meet and exceed satisfaction and loyalty. Maintain inventory management for special orders and ensure first quality standards for all merchandise. Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards; manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning per standards. Resolve customer service issues swiftly and in line with company guidelines. Support cash wrap processes and ensure accurate transactions; maintain alterations room cleanliness and organization. Perform duties assigned by store management. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment. Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production. Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus. Benefits & Schedule
