We are looking to add a new member to our antenna team. You will help provide innovative antenna solutions for our wireless devices, including technologies such as Wi-Fi, Cellular, IoT, UWB, and GNSS. We continuously explore next breakthroughs to incorporate into our portfolio. Your Impact: The antenna engineer will be responsible for antennas from definition to shipping. Responsibilities include simulations, prototyping, measurements (field, lab, active and passive), writing antenna specifications and test plans, guiding and reviewing partner work, reviewing compliance lab reports, providing technical materials to marketing and sales, and leading efforts to solve antenna-related problems. Responsibilities

Interaction with cross-functional teams, JDM partners, antenna vendors, compliance labs, and other organizations. Mentoring junior antenna engineers for lab activities (soldering stations, microscopes, network and spectrum analyzers, RF connectors, attenuators, PCB designs) and building reliable prototypes. Develop and run accurate simulation models (XFDTD, HFSS, CST, etc.), measure material properties, build prototypes, take measurements in the anechoic chamber, and generate reports and presentations. Explore new technologies and processes for next product cycles that could contribute to patents and publications. Availability to attend evening video-calls with partners in Asia as required. Minimum Qualifications

MS in electrical engineering with emphasis in electromagnetism and antenna design with 5+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. in electrical engineering with emphasis in electromagnetism and antenna design with 2+ years of relevant experience Deep understanding of electromagnetism and antenna design concepts, with experience designing antennas for Wi-Fi/BT, Cellular, UWB, GNSS, and antenna arrays End-to-end product development experience on at least one product from design to shipment Preferred Qualifications

Basic RF design and testing, programming (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW), and understanding of EMC, ESD, Surge, and radio compliance testing Experience with Contract Manufacturing (CM) or Joint-Development Model (JDM) Willingness to work on extended schedules for urgent tasks and occasional international travel to Asia (up to 5%) Strong communication and collaboration skills, proactive attitude, and a passion for learning and teaching About Cisco Meraki
