If you are a highly skilled Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgment, a passion for mentoring others, and the ability to lead with compassion and integrity — we want to hear from you.What You Will DoAs the RN Nursing Supervisor – PRN, you will play a vital leadership role in managing resident care and guiding nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, you will serve as a clinical resource, preceptor, and coordinator, ensuring quality outcomes for residents while promoting a respectful, team-based culture.Key Responsibilities Include:Clinical Leadership & OversightProvide direct, age-specific, culturally sensitive resident care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Utilize the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) to monitor resident needs and care outcomes.Serve as an on-site clinical expert and mentor to nursing staff during assigned shifts.Participate in staff and resident education to ensure regulatory and clinical compliance.Supervision & CollaborationAssist in coordinating staffing and workflow in collaboration with the Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing, and Nursing Home Administrator.Support orientation and competency validation for nursing staff.Act as liaison between residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and continuity of care.Regulatory Compliance & Quality AssuranceMaintain compliance with all CMS, Long-Term Care, HIPAA, and SRHS policies.Monitor for safety concerns and report risk management issues promptly.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and confidentiality of resident information.Administrative & Technical DutiesProfessionally manage phone calls, reporting, documentation, and communication with clinical departments.Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, updating manuals, and coordinating reports.Operate and maintain computers, fax machines, telephones, and other essential equipment with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Associate Degree in NursingCurrent and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South CarolinaStrong clinical assessment and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in electronic documentation and computer systemsPreferred Qualifications:Previous leadership or supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (preferred, but not required)Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and positive morale among staffWhy Join Ellen Sagar Nursing Center?Be part of a reputable and caring facility within the respected Spartanburg Regional Healthcare SystemEnjoy flexible PRN hours while contributing to meaningful careWork alongside a supportive leadership team and mission-driven colleaguesMake a lasting difference in the lives of residents and their familiesReady to lead, support, and inspire excellence in long-term care?Apply today to join Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System as a RN Nursing Supervisor – PRN at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center.
