Job Description:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead multiple medium to large-scale internal IT and business initiatives, overseeing scope, schedule, financials, and risk management. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing project plans, adapting methodologies as needed, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving operational and administrative activities, and delivering consistent results across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT and business projects from initiation to completion Create and execute project work plans, revising as needed to meet changing requirements Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk management activities Coordinate operational and administrative tasks across project teams Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and goals Deliver all phases of complex systems assignments Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline Project Management certification or equivalent 7+ years of experience in IT with knowledge of applications, databases, networking, and connectivity 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role with team development expertise Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and service management (ITIL certification a plus) Awareness of security and compliance, including vulnerability management Experience with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Familiarity with portfolio/program management tools such as Clarity Process-focused mindset with strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
