Description:
Perform daily and scheduled housekeeping duties as required. Sets up and shifts furniture and furnishings, washes walls and ceilings; dusts and polishes furniture; washes windows; strips, sprays, buffs, waxes and polishes floors; washes and cleans washrooms and disposes of garbage, trash etc. Operates heating, lighting, ventilation and electrical controls as specified. Maintains grounds including cutting grass with hand and power mowers, collecting litter, trimming bushes and small trees, raking grounds and performing snow removal as assigned. Minor maintenance repairs of custodial equipment for the district. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions and reporting procedures. Experience in building cleaning and minor maintenance. Able to create personable relations with co-workers, staff and public. Able to communicate clearly in English. Able to lift up to 100lbs. Willing to work overtime as needed.
