National Account Manager - Western U.S. TerritoryPosition Type: Remote (must be based in the Western U.S. territory)Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 base salary with total first-year earnings of $200,000+Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to identify, secure, and grow relationships at target and key accounts across the Western United States. This role is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and market share by building strong partnerships with customers and sales channel partners. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to lead account development, manage contracts, and influence strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & MarketingDevelop and execute strategic sales and marketing action plans to identify prospects, secure new business, and grow existing accounts.Drive the proposal and contract development process, including requirements coordination, quoting, negotiation, and integration with operations.Track performance against revenue, volume, and profitability goals.Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain trusted relationships with customers, prospects, and key stakeholders across the territory.Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (sales, production, service, and support) to ensure seamless delivery and operations.Partner with marketing to expand customer engagement and leverage advisory networks.Manage relationships with manufacturing representatives, channel partners, distributors, and resellers to maximize territory coverage.Market Analysis & ForecastingPrepare budgets, forecasts, and sales activity reports; monitor and adjust strategies as needed.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform territory strategy.Provide recommendations to leadership for product, policy, or process improvements.Financial & Commercial ManagementLead negotiations of commercial terms and agreements within approved parameters.Ensure cost center and account profitability targets are met.Team & Industry EngagementRecruit, train, and manage independent representatives and channel partners in the territory.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional seminars.Stay current with industry developments and technical product knowledge.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales of power quality products, services, or related solutions.Proven success managing sales through representatives, distributors, and resellers.Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and power quality solutions.Skilled in contract negotiation, solution selling, and executive-level presentations.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels.Results-driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with a strong team orientation.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
