Job Description:
As a Full-Stack Java Developer, you will support transportation-related development and maintenance programs by contributing to both front-end and back-end application development. You will work within an Agile team environment to design, develop, test, and deploy code, collaborating with project leads and UI/UX designers to build responsive and accessible user interfaces. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Spring frameworks Build responsive user interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams Create and maintain technical documentation, wireframes, and mockups Ensure compliance with accessibility standards including ADA and WCAG 2.0 Work with databases including Oracle 12C/19C and write SQL/PLSQL queries Utilize tools and frameworks such as JPA/Hibernate, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Tiles Support testing and debugging using Junit and Log4j Contribute to reporting solutions using Jasper Reports or similar tools Collaborate with UI/UX teams to enhance user experience Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
4+ years of experience programming with Java 8 5+ years of experience with Spring framework and Spring Boot 5+ years of experience in Agile development environments 5+ years of experience with React.js and front-end technologies Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, Data Tables, jQuery Experience with Oracle databases and SQL/PLSQL Familiarity with JBOSS Enterprise environment Experience with accessibility compliance standards Strong problem-solving and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
