American Traveler is seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with 2+ years of MFM and high-risk OB ultrasound experience for a day shift in a busy outpatient setting.Job Details•Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound department,•Work closely with MFM providers, genetic counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and care representatives,•Perform comprehensive OB exams including viability, nuchal translucency, anatomical surveys, cervical length, biophysical profiles, TTTS, fetal echo, and more,•Ultrasound-guided invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, D&C/D&E, and saline sonohysterogram,•Average 50-100 patients seen daily by 4 providers,•Doppler studies on umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus, and umbilical vein,•High-risk cases including congenital cardiac defects, skeletal dysplasia, neural tube defects, fetal growth restriction,•Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS,•EMR: Epic with required training on Day 1,•Day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30am-4:00pm); 8:00am-4:30pm as needed,Job Requirements•Active VA Sonographer license required if applicable,•ARDMS-OB certification and NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification required,•Minimum 2-3 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk OB ultrasound experience,•Experience in OBGYN, nuchal translucency, CVS procedures, and vascular Doppler studies,•Experience with GE ultrasound equipment required,•Preferred experience with M-Mode and fetal echo,•Prior Epic experience preferred; all candidates must participate in Epic training,•Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required per facility policy, with medical exemptions permitted,•Smoke/nicotine-free workplace compliance required,Additional Information•Main duties are OB/GYN sonography, high-risk OB exams, Doppler/vascular studies, and supporting MFM procedures,•Team-oriented environment with peer interviews and close collaboration among providers,•Potential for temp-to-perm opportunity if mutually agreed upon,•Online Epic class required on first day unless recently completed at the facility,•Scrub attire: Navy pants and Ceil Blue top,•Must wait one year before returning if previously employed at the facility,•Time off requests should be minimal and included in initial submission; approval subject to manager discretion,•Holiday work may be expected,•Floating may occur in rotation with client staff according to policy,],•hash,:•6955272552873988747,
