Adelphi is seeking a licensed Medical Doctor (MD or DO) with residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for a full-time outpatient clinic assignment in Cameron,Texas. The physician will provide direct patient care, manage complex medical conditions, and support patients with both medical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Current Texas medical license with no history of sanctions.
• Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current DEA, NPI, and CPR/BLS certification.
• ECFMG certification (if applicable).
• Must comply with all immunization requirements.
• Must complete required drug testing, fingerprinting, and facility/agency training prior to start.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Prior outpatient clinic experience managing chronic illnesses
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care onsite, Monday through Friday, during regular clinic hours.
• Perform comprehensive medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Deliver care to patients with acute, chronic, and behavioral health conditions.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in line with accepted standards of care.
• Develop and maintain disease management plans for patients.
• Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in quality improvement processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS).
• Provide individualized, evidence-based medical care in accordance with professional standards.
• When necessary, provide treatment for minor workplace injuries to staff.
• Participate in agency disaster response/recovery operations as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of service logs and invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
