Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) to join a progressive heart and vascular team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role blends outpatient clinic care with inpatient rounding and consults, giving you the opportunity to work across the continuum of cardiology services while collaborating with a team that values innovation and patient-centered care.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $98,000 $150,000 annually

What You ll Do
  • Provide direct patient care in both outpatient cardiology clinics and inpatient rehab/consultative settings

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing management of chronic and acute cardiovascular conditions

  • Participate in stress testing (exercise, echo, nuclear, dobutamine) and tilt table procedures

  • Assist with device interrogations for implanted cardiac devices

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective care

  • Educate patients and their families on lifestyle changes, treatment adherence, and recovery strategies

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiology NP or PA experience (outpatient preferred)

  • Master s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Current, unrestricted Colorado license (APN or PA)

  • Active DEA license with prescriptive authority

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required, cards in hand before start date)

  • Demonstrated skill in stress testing and device interrogation strongly preferred
