Coverage & Schedule

• Schedule Options:
  • M W F, 8 hr/day
  • OR M F, 8 hr/day

Practice Setting & Support

• Outpatient clinic & inpatient call coverage

• Shared space with Radiation Treatment Center

• Team includes Breast Surgeon, Surgical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologists

• Support staff: patient navigator, social worker, medical assistant, practice manager

• No onsite chemo (infusion center located 2 miles away)

Patient Volumes & Population

• Outpatient Clinic: 10 patients/day

• Inpatient Call/Rounding: 2 patients/day

• Adult & geriatric population; Spanish speaking interpreters available

• Approx. patients/week (mostly chronic management, few emergent cases)

Clinical & Procedural Duties

• Administer chemotherapy (intracavitary, intrathecal)

• Perform FNA/biopsy, manage VAD/CV catheters

• Participate in Tumor Board discussions

• Blood bank collaboration, ordering tests/images, prescribing medications

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $550/hr (Negotiable)

• Lodging: Reimbursed

• Mileage: Billed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

️ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology REQUIRED
️ Active MD state license in Maryland REQUIRED
️ Active MD DEA and CDS registration REQUIRED
️ ACLS or BLS registration REQUIRED
