The Organization This private practice is one of the largest gastroenterology groups in the region, with 55 providers across 20 locations. They are independently owned (not private equity) and hold a dominant position in their service area. Each location typically hosts 3-6 providers, but some are currently understaffed due to recent internal relocations.The group is dynamic, with an average provider age of 37 years, and boasts robust in-house services, including their own pharmacy, anesthesia, pathology (with FibroScan labs), and other ancillary services. Their immediate need is for two providers, with plans to recruit 6-7 more in the near term. The Opportunity The hiring division, part of the larger organization, was founded by a physician who left academia to establish a successful private practice. They are seeking gastroenterologists to perform general GI, with opportunities for advanced procedures, including ERCP.The division operates near leading hospitals in the area and offers two primary clinic locations a few miles from each other. Each location typically consists of a physician, an advanced practice provider (APP), and two medical assistants (MAs). Housing options are conveniently located within 15-20 minutes from the office, with access to highly desirable neighborhoods and amenities.
