We are seeking a dependable and experienced Stationary Engineer to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing steam boilers and ancillary equipment, including compressors, generators, and pumps. You will ensure compliance with all local and state regulations while supporting plant operations and preventative maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities

Operate steam boilers and ancillary equipment in accordance with local and state safety standards. Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on steam systems and components (pumps, compressors, generators, etc.). Maintain an active and valid stationary engineer’s license (state and local certifications). Provide coverage at other facilities as needed. Perform and document preventive maintenance activities. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical (non-PLC) issues related to boiler systems. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely requisition of equipment and supplies. Maintain accurate daily logs, maintenance records, PM documentation, and pass-down notes. Assist plant maintenance team as required. Monitor and maintain chemical levels in boiler systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and maximize equipment efficiency. Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to process work orders, track parts, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required: Valid and active Stationary Engineer’s License (local and/or state). Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating and maintaining industrial steam boiler systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems (excluding PLCs). Experience with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently on night shifts with minimal supervision. Preferred Experience

Food, beverage, or manufacturing industry experience a plus. Boiler chemical treatment knowledge or certification.
