School Psychologist – Middle School (Maternity Leave Coverage, November–February)
We're seeking a School Psychologist to provide maternity leave coverage at a middle school from November 2025 through mid/end of February 2026. This temporary, full-time position supports general education and resource students, as well as students with 504 plans.
Your focus is on conducting evaluations, participating in IEP and 504 meetings, and collaborating with school staff to support student growth. Self-contained programs are supported by another psychologist, ensuring this position is centered on the broader student population.
In this role, you will conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and guide planning. You will provide consultation and strategies to staff, administrators, and families, while actively participating in IEP and 504 meetings to support collaborative decision-making. Additional responsibilities include documenting student progress, maintaining compliance with district and state regulations, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development.
Requirements
Active School Psychology license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
Certification from the National Association of School Psychology is preferred.
Possess at least a Master's degree or higher in an Educational Psychology-related field.
