We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner, reporting to the Forecasting Manager, is responsible for developing detailed SKU-level forecasts that guide both supply chain execution and financial planning within the assigned business unit. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to ensure demand planning aligns with business goals and customer requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate 18-month demand forecasts at the SKU, customer, and business unit levels using statistical forecasting tools (Logility), providing the foundation for supply chain plans and financial projections.
  • Adjust and validate statistical forecasts with business insights to reflect anticipated market and customer demand.
  • Gather, interpret, and integrate data from multiple systems and partnersincluding POS, ERP platforms, sales history, and customer-provided forecastswhile working closely with sales, marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution functions.
  • Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, managing replenishment through the MRP process and overseeing SKUs throughout their product lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy to achieve goals related to service levels, inventory efficiency, production performance, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Build and analyze both standard and customized reports using relational databases to support clear, data-driven decisions.
  • Produce and deliver presentations and reports in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau, communicating key metrics, performance trends, and planning insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a core participant in the S&OP process, presenting forecasts at the business unit level in both internal and external forums with senior leaders and key customers.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain teams to reconcile variances between demand plans, customer orders, and supply plans, proactively managing risks such as inventory shortages.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 25 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or replenishment; consumer packaged goods (Client) background preferred.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems and understanding of related business processes.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in forecasting software with the ability to create and refine statistical forecasts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with data warehouses and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
