Position Summary
Coordinate activities related to the storage, inventory, and supply of materials. Follow-up of standards, policies, procedures regarding warehouses with the purpose of guaranteeing the correct administration that leads to an effective management of support to Florida Can Manufacturing operating activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Schedules, coordinates, controls, and supervises the tasks of the warehouse employees.
Coordinate dispatches with drivers, whether local or export.
Coordinate the receipt of aluminum with the drivers and ensure that it is stored following the FIFO rules and according to each size.
Notify the Warehouse Supervisor when a finished product return to determine the actions to follow.
Participate in the monthly and annual physical inventories (finished product).
Conducts daily, weekly, or as needed inventory of direct materials to production.
Make a weekly inventory of the scrap that needs to be sent.
Verify the area of empty totes to coordinate their disposition.
Inform of any general warehouse product that is needed to ensure the operation keep going.
Monitors the attendance of the personnel under his/her charge, reporting absences and requesting substitutes respective.
Prepares a report of the tasks carried out in the warehouse.
Periodically inspect the ramp areas and adjacent areas so that they are in the conditions required by FCM.
Ensures that the warehouse is clean and organized at all times and complies with the FCM safety standards especially the 18 required space between pallets and wall. Ensure the receiving area and cleaning packing material is clean and organized, including Second floor.
Ensures that forklifts comply with all FCM requirements and will verify the logs of inspection to ensure warehouse employees perform their tasks properly and report and/or call the mechanic if necessary.
Verify and sign the material inspection forms and brittle material log.
Ensures that there is a sufficient supply of clean packing material to cover the production of the day.
Performs the tasks of the shipping area (filling of wagons) and any other task that is assigned.
Maintains a proactive teamwork environment.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Comply with safety rules and ensure people are complying with safety rules when performing a work in the manufacturing area.
Comply with GMP and Food Safety Quality System requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Comply with the policies, procedures, and processes established by Florida Can Manufacturing LLC.
Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Available for work overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Have a license to drive forklifts.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
Sit, stand, and/or walk for periods of five hours or more, move and examine objects at high and low reach, and read for periods of three hours or more.
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Logistics preferred.
3 years of experience in a similar position or in Distribution Centers.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $ 24/hr
