The Master Data And Planning Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the organization's critical supply chain and operations data. This role will also provide support for longer term planning for materials and production.

Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm

Essential Functions

The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the organization's critical supply chain and operations data. This includes working with various internal and external functions to implement standards for collecting and storing data and using data to gain key business insights.

Provide input and oversight of routings and planning bills of material to support the production planning and materials resource planning requirements. Review of the weekly ERP planning output and ensuring feasibility of this plan to meet customer needs.

Assist with project design and implementation for various internal systems to improve work functionality, and product reliability.

Advise and coordinate schedule changes with appropriate personnel. Support all media fills, maintenance, holiday shutdowns, and other atypical manufacturing activities under the guidance and direction of the focus factory managers and production managers.

Initiates the release of manufacturing orders to support developed production plans during off-shift hours. The initiation of the manufacturing order feeds production lot level data to LIMS, SMART, and Labeling Systems. Coordinate all atypical scenarios.

When needed, assist with daily production support activities, such as creating and updating manufacturing run summaries with updated customer service orders for all cold products.

Perform key inventory control activities such as preparation of detailed inventory analyses and forward projections, physical inventory, and reconciliation as well as maintain weekly KPIs as assigned to track and manage financial, production and quality performance.

Independently troubleshoots and resolves errors with production entry issues.

Adhere to all site safety rules and policies.

Other duties as assigned.

Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.).

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field required. Work experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Five or more years of relevant work experience is required.

Cross functional experience interacting with Supply Chain and production.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Working knowledge of Infor XA MAPICS, or related MRP System.

Working knowledge of cGMP and ISO practices.

Working knowledge or Lean and Six Sigma concepts or Certifications is desirable.

Ability to use project management skills to conduct effective meetings.

Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive problems to resolution.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to keep detailed records, attention to detail.

Able to analyze, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.

Working Conditions: Willingness to work in plant producing radioactive materials and requiring all employees to participate in safety programs designed to minimize potential and/or actual exposure levels. Responsibilities include the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, kneeling, crouching, twisting the upper body, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, must be able to physically negotiate stairs and evacuation ladders with or without accommodation, wear and operate safety equipment, enter vessels, and inspect equipment. Material handling devices (e.g., hand truck, fork truck, and conveyors) are used when possible, however, use of proper lifting and movement techniques is necessary to prevent injury. Must be willing to wear a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hearing protection as needed. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of 8+ hours a day while performing duties. Must possess good hand-eye coordination; close attention to detail is required. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to mechanical/moving parts, hazards including corrosive, flammable and toxic material, dust, dirt, odors, and irritants. Willingness to complete safety training within allotted timeframes, and work in a team-based environment. Must be able to work outside of regular work hours, including off shift, weekend, and holiday work as business needs require.
