Screw Machine Operators (Acme, Brown and Sharpe, Davenport)Fruita, CO7am to 3:30pm Monday through FridaySUMMARY:Responsible for proper set-up, operation, and maintenance of the machines. The operator is responsible for producing parts to print at specified production rates.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Machine lubrication, machine start-up and shut down proceduresMachine set-up and operation.Quality and production rates.Recording daily production.Machine maintenance and repair.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.Machine, department, and shop house keeping.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Layout reading and ability to set-up machines.Solid mechanical aptitude and machining knowledge.Experience with Acme, Brown and Sharpe or Davenport automatics helpful.Ability to communicate with others.
