We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Plant Manager to lead and oversee our client's manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality and safety standards, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and expertise in production and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all production materials are available, safely stored, and properly documented.
- Maintain accurate inventory control.
- Oversee vehicle cleaning records and third-party truck documentation.
- Set and communicate production goals; track and report results.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) .
- Minimize waste and improve efficiency.
- Create production schedules that align with customer needs and facility projects.
- Enforce sanitation standards and manage master cleaning schedules.
- Oversee pest control and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Develop and enforce OSHA safety programs and PPE usage.
- Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper chemical storage and SDS compliance.
- Manage facility access policies for employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all quality standards.
- Develop and implement Food Safety programs (HACCP) .
- Oversee audits, licenses, and third-party inspections.
- Ensure quality checks, corrective actions, and reporting processes are in place.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance standards and schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plant management or manufacturing leadership .
- Strong knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and quality control.
- Skilled in supply chain and operations analytics.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish required).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful track record in process improvement and project management.
