Job Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for performing activities that focus on planning, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the company's quality management programs. This is a hands-on, technical role.

Essential Functions:

  1. Analyze quality performance utilizing statistical and analytical tools and methods.
  2. Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate reliability, precision, reliability, and accuracy of processes, products, and production equipment.
  3. Develop and establish quality procedures and systems for inspection plans, quality trends, statistical plan, and technical quality proposal plans.
  4. Ensure process control documents adhere with set requirements.
  5. Ensure on-time processing of non-conforming components.
  6. Assist disposition process by involving in failure analysis and suggest corrective actions as Material Review Board member.
  7. Coordinate with suppliers and customers relating to quality trends, performance, and corrective action.
  8. Verify conformance and productivity of quality engineering system through supplier audits and surveys.
  9. Initiate programs to eliminate internal Non-Conformances.
  10. Interact with product development committees to inspect and review engineering releases.
  11. Review product quality aspects like planning, manufacturing methods, and process specifications.
  12. Interact with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize documentation related to quality and inspection checks.
  13. Ensure all internal gauges and tooling is certified and maintained.
  14. Ensure calibration records are up to date.
  15. Interact with Quality Control team to conduct Technician Training Program after evaluating Quality Inspections Techniques.
  16. Assist manufacturing scrap performance evaluation and management.
