The Dishwasher ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, tableware, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas. This role supports smooth kitchen operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and glassware. Operate dishwashing equipment according to safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, trash, and recycling. Assist with basic food prep or kitchen tasks as directed by the manager. Follow proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures. Restock clean dishes and utensils for service staff and kitchen team. Communicate with kitchen staff to prioritize urgent needs during peak times. Uphold health and safety standards, complying with local and company policies. Qualifications Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physical stamina: able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs. Work Environment Fast casual restaurant kitchen with high activity and customer volume. Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
