Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Digital group supporting the Card Services organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
What's the Job?
- Provide 24x7 support of production Internet applications on a rotating basis.
- Diagnose and resolve complex customer issues in accessing the Portal and Web Services environments.
- Drive crisis technical bridges and leverage experience to reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
- Document install defects and perform post-mortem analysis to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with development and technology groups to monitor and triage problems.
- 8-10 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Hands-on understanding of Linux systems.
- Good understanding of cloud concepts, with experience in Azure or AWS.
- Experience with OpenShift or similar cloud management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-performance culture.
