Employment Details: Recognized Civil Infrastructure Consulting firm in the US & Canada 100% employee owned Full Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K match Sign on bonus opportunity Paid OT and Annual Performance Bonus Responsibilities: Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment plant retrofit, design build, progressive design built, etc. Work on engineering planning, design, and manage projects of medium to large size for Municipal and Water Districts clients in the region Manage a variety of pipeline materials including: ductile iron, steel, PVC, HTPE, etc. for yard-piping projects Design Management of Water / Wastewater Treatment systems (I.e. Digesters, Tertiary Treatment systems, Clarifiers, Storage Tanks, etc.) Assist in client relations and business development pursuits across the south Florida region Prepare reports, develop plans, and specifications Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling Permitting and preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables Data entry and analysis Provide engineering services during construction Participate in field activities, when needed (limited amount of travel required) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) 4-10 years of experience in water / wastewater treatment plant design and project management engineering 3+ years in Project Management for municipalities / water districts in south Florida (i.e. South Florida Water Management District, Broward County, Palm Beach County) Strong design of Water/Wastewater treatment systems for municipal clients Extensive experience with large diameter pipe and directional drilling Experience with designing, planning, and commissioning of Ultra-Violet (UV) treatment systems for municipal Wastewater Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+)
