A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 5-7 years of litigation experience to join its dynamic team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious firm known for its litigation expertise. Responsibilities: Represent corporate clients in federal and state courts, handling civil actions related to property damage. Collaborate with forensic experts to assess the legal and financial viability of various causes of action in both single and multi-party litigation. Draft pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and briefs. Prepare for, attend, and present at court hearings. Take and defend depositions. Maintain effective communication with clients and opposing counsel. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials demonstrating legal aptitude. Admission to the Florida Bar is required. Minimum of five years of litigation experience, preferably in prosecuting or defending product defect claims, property damage claims, construction issues, or property insurance claims. Experience working with forensic experts (e.g., fire origin and cause, mechanical, electrical, structural, chemical, human factors, accounting, and standard of care) is highly preferred. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and presenting oral arguments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as needed.
