Job Description Senior Closing Attorney Position Description – Bilingual Spanish We are expanding our business and are seeking a senior closing attorney for our firm. You will assist with the firm’s operations in title and closings generally, and especially with our Spanish-speaking clientele. We are seeking a self-directed individual who will be able to conduct to real estate closings both inside and outside of the office. We will coach and mentor you with regards to your legal understanding of settlement statements, security deeds, warranty deeds, closing packages and other settlement-related documents. Location Duluth, GA Closing Attorney Responsibilities Conduct and manage closings, both in the office and "travel closings" Review title examinations and clear title issues. Sign checks and release wires. Draft legal documents to ensure legality, thoroughness, and internal consistency of settlement requirements Guide the operations support staff regarding legal process and procedures relating to assigned real estate transactions. Facilitate customer relationships as a closing attorney Closing Attorney Qualifications Four-year degree; three-year law degree from an accredited law school Active member in good standing of state bar Notary Public Certification Ability to explain real estate settlement documents to laypersons Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, ability to think on your feet Attention to detail; excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation Present yourself in a polite, polished, and professionally friendly manner Satisfactory background check required This position does not litigate
