that is actively expanding with a new site opening. This role will work closely with Zenly’s expert HR consultants to bring structure, scalability, and people-first strategy to the organization as they grow. About the ABA Company This Raleigh-based ABA provider is a clinician-founded, parent-informed organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy to children with autism and developmental needs. Accredited as a BHCOE/Jade Health, the company offers clinic-based services and emphasizes a family-centered approach to care. With a strong commitment to quality, growth, and community impact, the organization is expanding its footprint and building the internal infrastructure needed to support its next chapter, including a new site launch and deeper investment in scalable systems. About the Role We’re hiring a Human Resources Director to support this mission-driven ABA provider. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who can build strong systems, lead with integrity, and drive workforce excellence across a growing multi-site organization. The HR Director will work alongside Zenly to lead all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and organizational culture. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly scaling behavioral health company. Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR & Culture Leadership Partner with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with growth goals. Develop and execute workforce planning and change management strategies. Build a values-based culture through feedback tools, coaching, and engagement strategies. Lead performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution processes. HR Operations, Systems & Payroll Oversee accurate payroll processing and compliance with state/federal regulations. Lead implementation and optimization of HRIS systems and internal workflows. Manage benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee documentation. Partner with clinical leaders to support staffing and workforce planning needs. Policy Development & Compliance Create and maintain compliant HR policies and SOPs across departments. Manage department playbooks and internal audits to ensure clinical and administrative compliance. Lead and track mandatory training (HIPAA, harassment prevention, labor law updates). Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Oversee inclusive and effective recruitment strategies aligned with team needs. Lead onboarding process design and execution for an exceptional new hire experience. Track early retention metrics and adjust hiring/onboarding strategies accordingly. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s a plus). Strong knowledge of employment law, HRIS systems, and payroll operations. Prior experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
