Seller Doer / Consultant
to support the growth of environmental projects across various sectors. This role can be based at any GES office in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, New England, Great Lakes, Texas/Gulf Coast, or the West, or considered for remote or hybrid work within the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new client relationships in sectors such as power & utilities, oil & gas, industrial facilities, government, and commercial clients.
Support the growth of existing GES clients in these sectors.
Achieve revenue targets of $300,000 to $500,000 in the first year, with over $500,000 in the second year.
Lead sales efforts, including securing contracts and executing projects with GES staff.
Apply industry knowledge to support service line growth and project execution.
Support selling and execution of services such as ecological services, site investigation, remediation, air quality services, water resources, civil engineering, and other environmental consulting areas.
Manage contracts, lead bid and proposal efforts, and conduct sales presentations and seminars.
Generate leads and cultivate industry relationships.
Travel approximately 25% locally and overnight as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Willingness to travel for industry events and client meetings.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
15+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in sales, client development, and project leadership.
Established industry and regulatory contacts; professional certifications/licenses are a plus (PE, PG, CPG, PhD, etc.).
