Job Description:

Summary:

Join the Career Center team and work with two career advisors for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the School of Education (SOE) to support career services and resources for students. This position will involve preparing materials for career workshops, updating career resources for specific majors, potentially creating short videos on career topics, as well as working on special projects as needed (e.g. career panels/networking events).

This position uses and develops skills in critical thinking, written communication, technology, and teamwork. The position also provides opportunities to demonstrate and strengthen professionalism and leadership competencies.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-Time. In office presence required. 5 - 7 hours per week. Active Federal Work Study award. This position is for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Salary Range:

$17.95 per hour. Required Education and Experience:

Currently enrolled AU student. Must have a Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the current academic year. Must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia during the school year. Excellent writing skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take direction. Strong time management skills to complete projects and report results on time. Additional Information:
