Truss Designer

The
Truss Designer
will create accurate, efficient designs that meet customer needs and comply with building codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities of a Truss Designer Create truss layouts and structural plans using
MiTek ,
Alpine , or similar software
Interpret blueprints and specifications to produce complete truss packages
Work closely with sales, production, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Provide technical support to builders, contractors, and internal staff
Ensure designs meet all safety and compliance requirements
Assist production teams with questions on truss design details
Qualifications
Experience as a
Truss Designer
strongly preferred
Proficiency with MiTek, Alpine, or related truss design software
Understanding of construction practices and structural load requirements
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
