We're seeking a skilled
Maintenance Mechanic
to join our team and help ensure our production operations run smoothly and safely.
Comp:
$34.65/ HR + shift differential (after 40 work days bumps up to $35.15)
Shift:
4pm - 4am / Days: 3 on 3 off, 4 on 4 off - repeat
Key Responsibilities:
Perform setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct scheduled maintenance during downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Maintain facility equipment, including basic carpentry and plumbing work.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.
Support food safety and product quality initiatives.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with high-speed production or packaging equipment strongly preferred.
Familiarity with GMPs, OSHA safety standards, and food manufacturing requirements a plus.
