Serve as the primary liaison between the guest and the dining experience-welcoming, seating, and bidding farewell with warmth and energy. Manage the host stand and reservation system (SevenRooms/OpenTable) to maximize flow, efficiency, and table turns without sacrificing hospitality. Train and mentor all hostess team members to uphold TownHall standards and deliver consistent guest experiences. Lead daily pre-shift meetings for host team members and collaborate with the FOH management on floor plans and server assignments. Monitor guest wait times and effectively communicate updates using our reservation tools and communication best practices. Ensure accurate guest information is recorded for future engagement and loyalty-building opportunities. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and urgency-offering solutions that align with our values. Maintain a clean, stylish, and fully stocked host stand at all times. Support the management team with VIP guest experiences and special events coordination. Qualifications

2+ years of front-of-house or hosting experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Previous experience in a leadership or training role is highly preferred. Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with reservation platforms (SevenRooms, Resy, or similar). Passionate about hospitality, people, and creating memorable guest experiences.
