Job Description Job Title: CT Scan Tech
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Duration: 91 Contract Weeks Location: [Facility Location]
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced CT Scan Tech to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 7 AM to 7:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT, with emphasis on Level 1 Trauma settings. Applicants must possess a valid SC state license, BLS certification, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT) credentials. Siemens experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT scans including but not limited to abdomen, chest, pelvis, and brain evaluations, both with and without contrast. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain radiation safety standards. - Manage on-call responsibilities as needed. - Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care. - Document and input patient information accurately using the Epic charting system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in CT imaging, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma facility preferred. - Certification in BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT). - Demonstrated experience with Siemens imaging equipment. - Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control. - Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform biopsies and aspirations as needed. - Must provide a radiation badge through your agency.
Additional Details: - Must be able to float between sister facilities if required. - All RTO (requested time off) must be included upon submission; approvals depend on unit needs. - Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis and must be within 60 miles of the facility.
