Genesis10
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability, identify bugs and issues before release, in collaboration with developers, release team, and other testers.
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Contribute to test planning, and when part of a Scrum team, build test cases for stories in the given sprint, per story acceptance criteria.
Participate in test case reviews and make necessary updates.
Build and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases.
Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results.
Report issues and defects along with appropriate background information for review.
Collaborate with developers on reproducing, detailing, and documenting reported defects.
Requirements:
5+ years using Microfocus Octane for test case management. 5+ years delivering test solutions using UFT. 5+ years delivering test solutions using Tosca. 5+ years delivering test solutions using Selenium. 5+ years of experience with Java or Python. 5+ years of experience with Litmus for test integration. Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins integration. Proficiency in Octane, Python, Selenium, Tosca, Litmus, Jenkins, UFT.
