Our client, a full-service law firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3 - 5 years of experience in Construction Law, handling hearings and depositions, to join our team.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree & Florida bar license
Minimum of 3-5 years of Associate Litigation experience
Experience as a Commercial Litigation Associate
3 - 5 Years of experience in Construction Law is helpful
Strong knowledge of state laws and regulations related to Commercial Litigation
Experience in Construction law, business law, appeals, civil litigation, and/or real estate litigation
Skills
Experience working with large clients and consultations
Outstanding negotiation and client interaction skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with high-volume practices
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with great interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English; Spanish helpful
Ability to multitask and handle high-stress, sensitive situations with confidentiality
Independent judgment and ability to work independently or collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work under pressure and learn new information
Excellent planning, reporting, proofreading skills
Reliability and dependability
Filevine, Lead Docket experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
Prepare cases, legal strategies, and correspondence
Represent clients in hearings, trials, arbitrations
Experience with electronic discovery tools
Draft legal documents and conduct legal research
Negotiate settlements and maintain case files
Explain legal terminology to clients
Research legal issues and develop solutions
Meet performance goals and comply with policies
Coordinate with colleagues and supervise staff
Additional Details Location: Orlando, FL, 32801
Position: Onsite with potential for hybrid
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000
