Senior Financial Consultant (Madison/Orange/Culpeper/Locust Grove)

This position is responsible for providing investment solutions to individuals and businesses, managing client goals and objectives, and maintaining client relationships. The Senior Financial Consultant actively partners with Atlantic Union Bank branches.
Position Accountabilities
Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income, and risk management, along with suitability and investment objectives. Adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary for clients in all advisory relationships. Develop and maintain client relationships through business development, networking, and internal partnerships. Buy and sell securities to meet clients' needs and objectives. Develop and execute a personal business plan annually, focusing on revenue growth, asset management, partnership strategies, prospecting, and deepening existing relationships. Build and sustain high-quality relationships with clients and prospects. Manage current customer accounts by answering questions, evaluating portfolios, providing recommendations, and coordinating with operational units. Conduct investment research on products, markets, and the economy. Perform investment allocation analysis to evaluate customer portfolios. Utilize new technology and solutions in practice management. Monitor sales activity to meet individual goals. Represent the company in the community through civic and non-profit engagements to promote business development. Communicate the value proposition effectively to clients, prospects, and partners. Educate and engage branch team members through huddles, coaching, and feedback on referrals. Partner with branch and other teams for non-investment needs. Follow all policies, procedures, and legal regulations applicable to the bank and products. Organizational Relationship
This role reports to the AUFC Managing Director and has a dotted line to the AUFC Branch Manager. Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred. At least five years of experience in the investment services industry. FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses, plus Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses. AWMA or CFP designations preferred. Knowledge & Skills
Deep knowledge of investment concepts, procedures, and regulations. Ability to sell and negotiate financial products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online systems. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Learn more about our division here:
