DTCC is seeking a highly skilled

Power BI Developer

to join its Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and business value. The developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver impactful insights supporting critical financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations

that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to

gather business requirements , translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective BI solutions. Build and optimize

data models (star schema, snowflake schema)

to support reporting needs. Create and manage

DAX queries, measures, and calculated columns

for complex business logic. Optimize performance of Power BI reports through best practices in

query folding, data reduction, and efficient modeling . Ensure

data governance, security, and compliance

with DTCC policies and financial industry standards. Collaborate with ETL/Database teams to ensure

data integrity and availability

for reporting. Publish, maintain, and support

Power BI workspaces, datasets, and apps

across the organization. Stay updated with latest

Power BI features and industry trends

to drive innovation in reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years

of experience in

Power BI development

and Business Intelligence solutions. Strong expertise in:

Power BI Desktop & Service

DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

Power Query (M language)

Data modeling

(relational, dimensional, OLAP) Hands-on experience with

SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization . Familiarity with

cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

is a plus (Azure preferred). Strong understanding of

data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting best practices . Excellent

analytical, communication, and stakeholder management

skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in

financial services / capital markets

domain. Knowledge of

Python, R, or other analytics tools . Exposure to

Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools

(added advantage). Understanding of

Agile methodology

and working in a

regulated environment .
