JD Solar Consultant, LLC is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Customer Care Chat Agent to join our growing team. In this role, youll provide friendly and efficient support to customers interested in solar energy solutions through live chat and email. Youll assist with product inquiries, troubleshoot service-related issues, and help ensure a seamless customer experience all through clear and professional written communication. A strong focus on empathy, accuracy, and customer satisfaction is essential as you support JD Solar Consultants mission to promote sustainable energy.

Applicants should be located within the United States, United Kingdom, or Germany. Paid induction and training focused on solar products and services will be provided for all successful hires.

Work Schedule

10 hours per week (weekends only)

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via live chat and email, especially regarding solar products, installation processes, and service options

Resolve customer issues with clarity, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring customers feel supported in their transition to renewable energy

Document all customer interactions in the system accurately

Provide detailed information about solar solutions, financing options, and energy savings to assist customers in making informed decisions

Follow up on inquiries as needed to ensure resolution and satisfaction

Escalate complex technical or service issues to the appropriate internal teams

Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional tone in all written communications

Support internal departments with chat-based administrative or service-related tasks as required

Qualifications & Requirements
3 months to 1 year of customer service experience (via chat, email, phone, or in-person)

Valid means of identification

Must be available to work on weekends

Pre-competence test is required before the interview (conducted via Zoom; onsite testing available in Florida)

Induction/training on solar products and customer service processes will be provided

Must be willing to undergo a background check

Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and tone

Ability to multitask and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously

Basic computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
